Štrbské Pleso – Gem of the High Tatras
Štrbské Pleso is the highest settlement in the High Tatras, located at an altitude of 1,346 meters. It is known for its picturesque moraine lake, which is the second largest lake in Slovakia, covering an area of 19.76 hectares and a maximum depth of 20 meters. The lake is surrounded by the beautiful nature of the Tatra National Park, making it an ideal place for hiking, cycling, and winter sports.
