The Adriatic Riviera is a region that is particularly suitable for families with children. The drive from Bratislava is bearably long, and children can entertain themselves by counting tunnels along the way. Another plus is the beaches, which are wide, sandy, and have a gradual entry into the sea.

It lies on the shores of the Adriatic Sea, in the northeastern part of Italy. Famous resorts such as Lignano, Bibione, and Lido di Jesolo belong here, and perhaps the biggest attraction for excursions is Venice. If you want to take a look a bit inland, it is worth visiting the city of lovers, Verona, or Padua, the city of basilicas, churches, and palaces, where St. Anthony of Padua is also buried.
